HOW MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOTS WORK
The best time to have your maternity session is between 32 -34 weeks to capture that beautiful baby bump. We have a selection of glamorous maternity gowns to use for your shoot and you are welcome to bring anything you would like to be photographed in. We can discuss underwear and what to bring during our telephone consultation. We can shoot inside the studio or out on location, we can travel to the beach, lavender fields, local beauty spots or a location of your choice. We may need to obtain permission and obviously be flexible with the weather.
If you wish to have make up provided this has to be arranged and paid for separately.
Is my deposit deducted from the balance?
Yes, your deposit will be deducted from the final balance on the day of the shoot.
When should I book my maternity session?
The time to shoot your maternity session is between 28 – 34 weeks when your bump has blossomed but before you are too uncomfortable. It is recommended that you book as early as possible and definitely before the 20 week of pregnancy to ensure a date is available.
Can my partner/child attend?
Of course! Your partner/husband/wife/child/ren are welcome to attend. The studio is small so and children will get bored quickly, so after the family shots we advise your partner take them outside for a walk while we finish shooting the session.
How long does the shoot last?
The session will last approximately 90 minutes which gives us enough time for outfit changes along with background changes, posing and lighting set ups. As your partner/child may be present the session will includes images of yourself and your family too.
What do I wear?
You will have full use of the studio maternity dresses and fabric wraps during your session. You may also bring any outfits you may have. Please also bring a selection of underwear in black, white and nude tones including thongs! Hair and make up is NOT included but can be added at a separate cost.

Access to wardrobe

Full editing of images – all my images are clean edited style
Online password protected gallery
Boxed premium quality images (depending on package chosen)
Do I have to do nude photos?
This is a common question! Whilst some clients are comfortable having nude shots taken, you do not have to. Some clients choose to be fully clothed or in fabric wraps.
What if I am worried about my weight or skin blemishes?
All photographs are professionally retouched which is included. Any worries can be discussed at our consultation.

When will my images be ready to view?
Your images will be ready to view approximately two weeks after your session. You will receive an email link and password to view your gallery. Your images will not be used in any way without your permission.
